It is amazing to see how Liverpool City Region has grown with SME’s and Independents since my return to the UK in 2014. Independents are the back bone of the economy. Seeing the development locally of Prescot town centre and also what is happening with Huyton Village development it’s exciting to see how town centres are trying to entice independents back. Within Liverpool City centre the recent opening of Duke Street Food & Drink market and also Cain’s Brewery it’s fabulous to see more and more independents opening businesses.
